Privacy
Last updated April 3, 2026. This page describes the current V1 (“Who’s Free Tonight?”).
What we collect
- Account: If you sign in, Supabase Auth stores your email (and provider metadata for Google sign-in). We use this only to identify you as the creator of your hangouts.
- Hangouts: Title, optional description, date, optional time window, status (including phase while active, or canceled), and an unguessable share link slug.
- Responses: Availability (free / maybe / busy), optional display name, optional note, and a timestamp. Respondents do not need an account.
- Technical data: Our hosting and database providers may process IP addresses and logs for security and reliability (for example, rate limiting replies on share pages).
Share links
Anyone with your hangout link can see the hangout details and responses, and can submit a reply while the hangout is open. Do not post links where you expect full privacy.
Processors
We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). Their privacy policies apply to how they process data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can close a hangout to stop new replies. You can delete your account from the menu when signed in; that removes hangouts and responses tied to your account. For other requests, contact the site operator.
Children
Open-ish is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this page as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated notice.
